Equality, diversity and inclusion statement

As a coach I aim to help everyone find their place in the world and develop their full potential. This means celebrating and encouraging diversity and seeking to foster an empowering culture with every individual, team and organisation I support.

As a coach I acknowledge my personal bias and do not assume coaches are neutral agents. As a white woman I recognise my privilege and accountability and am committed to challenging systems of oppression that restrict social identity and beliefs.
I subscribe to the concept of allyship and focus my agency on working with diverse networks to build momentum towards a shared goal of societal change. In my experience this can enable my coaching practices to recognise and challenge systemic and epistemic injustice.

An inclusive culture empowers all of us to connect, belong, and grow. Without diversity of thought and a commitment to equality for all, there is no moving forward. We are smart alone but together we can be remarkable. Equality, diversity and inclusion means maximising the opportunities for everyone’s talents and resources to be fully utilised and are both good practice and make business sense.

I continually assess how the equality, diversity and inclusion of the coaching services and any supporting action plan, are working in practice, reviewing outcomes and taking action to address any issues.
